Cleanup Connectors

The Cleanup Connector utility allows you to manually remove existing duplicate events on a calendar.

To cleanup your calendar follow these steps:


1. Right-click (Ctrl+click) on the connector you want to cleanup and select the Cleanup Connector option.





2. The "Connector Cleanup" Wizard will launch; you can complete this utility by pressing the "Cleanup" button or by selecting other criteria such as Location and/or Attendees.

Events are matched for duplicates based on a set of matching criteria. Events must have a matching summary and time, including recurrence, in order to be considered duplicates. You can further restrict how a duplicate event is determined by having Calgoo match the location field, attendees, and the original calendar. If you select the original calendar option, events created on different sync sources will not match for removal. Checking more criteria reduces the number of events that are removed.





3. Click the Cleanup button.



*Tip: You can automatically keep your connectors clean by enabling duplication removal.
